The Venetian

The Venetian may be the most luxurious stop on the whole Vegas Strip.  Tall and stately, refined and elegant, it gives you just a hint of Venice, Italy.  The Grand Canal Shoppes have all manner of Italian designed fashions, jewelry and accessories.  And the ristorantes will give you a generous taste of Italian cuisine at its best.  And for dessert, treat yourselves to a gondola ride.  While there are outside canals as well, you will probably prefer to ride through the shoppes in air conditioned comfort.  A tip to the gondola pilot may be rewarded with song.  So sit back, put your arm around that significant other, sip that wine, and enjoy.  Ciao, bella.
