Margaritaville - Orlando
Orlando offers much more to do with your time than "mess with that mouse." Naturally a trip there requires at least one meal at Jimmy's house. Located in the heart of Universal's City Walk area, it is much larger than the ones in New Orleans or Key West. We managed to eat there twice. The Jambalaya was as good as any I've ever eaten. And the Volcano Nachos are more than just an appetizer. They are a complete meal for at least 2 people. And the best part was that the Hemisphere Dancer was there on display. While you cannot enter the plane, you are free to check it out closely and take photos. Now if we could just find the pilot . . . .
Forget the dippin' dots. Go straight to the source for your fun.
The Mayor and First Lady, and the First Daughter, respectively, pose with the parrot.
I don't know how long Hemisphere Dancer is going to be there, but get there before it's gone.
Everyone on the staff has a Ph. D in fun
.
Tiki Huts! They're not just for concert stages anymore!
Nautical decor is the rule. Don't forget your sailor suit.
Proud indeed!
I don't know where I'm a gonna go when the volcano blow!
As usual, the musical entertainment was superb.
Getting up close and personal with Hemisphere Dancer was a real treat.
Check out these pictures of some of Jimmy's other restaurants.
